KCCA FC took on Police FC at the Startimes Stadium for their 8th match of the 2019/20 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.

It was the visitors who started on a high and by the opening 20 minutes of the game they had already gotten a goal through Ben Ocen who dribbled past KCCA’s right back Musa Ramadhan to put the ball in the far corner to make it 1-0.
The game continued to entertain with the visitors piling pressure on the hosts.

KCCA FC continued to look for their touch and there was an immediate response when midfielder Jackson Nunda scored a block buster past Police custodian Davis Mutebi from outside the penalty area in the 21st minute of the game. But through Pius Kaggwa and Ben Ocen Police continued to press hard the pedal in order to look for the better result by the close of the first 45 minutes.

Before the close of the first half, Pius Kaggwa got a goal for the visitors to separate the two sides at the break.

On the last stanza, KCCA made timely substitutes when they withdrew Mike Mutyaba for Erisa Sekisambu and Steven Sserwadda for teenager Sadat Anaku. With the presence of the experienced Erisa Sekisambu, KCCA turned around the game and within the 70th minute of the game, Nunda restored parity for KCCA when he rattled a ball from Sekisambu into the net to make the game square.

With 12 minutes to end the game, substitute Erisa Sekisambu scored a 3rd goal for KCCA before Jackson Nunda failed to convert a penalty that could have made the scoreline 4-2.
Sekisambu was brought down in the forbidden area by Police defender Sylvester Ssemakula and referee Ali Sabira did no mistake but giving KCCA penalty which Nunda failed to score in the 86th minute of the game.

This game takes KCCA FC to 6th place with 13 points on the standings, while Police remains with 5 points out of 12 games and second last on the table.
