Eastern Region champions Gadafi FC battle San Siro for a spot in FUFA Big league for the 2020/2021 season today at the FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.

San Siro FC eliminated Katakwi based side Team Church 4-2 on penalties in a match played on Sunday.

The head coach of Gadaffi FC Micheal Ssebaggala vows to achieve Big league promotion with his side as he targets victory against Sansiro FC.

“My players are ready for the final and we are going in tomorrow’s game targeting victory. We are the stronger but respect our opponents and that doesn’t mean we fear them,” said Ssebaggala.

Meanwhile, Sansiro’s coach Charles Namakoola has belief in his boys for a surprise result against Gadaffi FC in tomorrow’s match though they come in as the underdogs.

“Despite Gadaffi FC having good and experienced players, we as Sansiro are not afraid of anything and are ready for the battle,” said Namakoola.

The winner will join Luwero United as the new entrants in the FUFA Big League for the 2020/2021 season as we wait for the two other slots to be filled in the playoffs coming up.
