The tax collectors who have played only one friendly against Koboko Rising Stars will face Rwanda’s Rayon Sports on Friday, 2nd September 2022 at 6pm EAT in the Kigali Stadium.
This comes just days after the Rayon Sports were beaten by another Ugandan Club in Vipers 1-0 courtesy of a wonder goal by Bobosi Byaruhanga.
The Rwandese Club is expected to give URA a challenge just like it did against the Venoms having finished fourth with 48 points in Rwanda Premier League last season. They have won nine league titles, the second most titles after APR who lead with 20.
URA are set to test their new weapons like James Begisa who they signed from UPDF FC and George Ssenkaaba from Express Football Club.
