Rain-shower of goals as Express FC beats Police at Wankulukuku

It’s been an Express evening as the Red Eagles fly past the cops at Betway Mutesa II Stadium

The cops were forced into an early substitution when goalkeeper Hillary Jomi got injured from a close challenge with Frank Ssenyondo and replace by Alfred Ginyera in the 13th minute

The red Eagles found the back of the net in the 16th minute through team skipper Disan Galiwango to put the hosts in the lead.

Police made serious attacks before Timothy Oyamo headed in Dennis Rukundo’s well driven cross to level matters for the cops in the 25th minute.

Frank Ssenyondo put the host into the lead in the 31st minute before Frank Kalanda scored the 3rd goal on the 41st to make it 3-1 for Express Fc

Police made a second  substitution of the game when Johnson Odong came on for Timothy Oyamo to pile more pressure on the eagles

Striker Hood kaweesa was brought down inside the box to win a penalty for the cops, Ben Ocen comfortably converted it to make it 3-2 before the break.

Defender Cyrus Kibande paved way for Hamis Batenga at the start of the second half Before Kimera Ruben came on for worn out Andrew Samson kigozi in the 60th minute

Dennis Sserukwaya came on for Isaac Doka mweru in the 63rd minute before Frank Kalanda completed his brace scoring the 4th goal for Express from a short pass from Frank Ssenyondo after reckless clearance from the Police Fc goal keeper to make it 4-3.

Worked out Frank Kalanda was replaced by forward Ivan Ocholit in the 78th minute before Denis Sserukwaya was cautioned for a reckless challenge

Ben Ocen completed his brace after cutting from inside to leave express defender asking for God’s mercy to score a beauty and made it 4-3

Ocholit scored an empty net from Disan Galiwango’s cross to seal the win for Express Fc.

The win takes Express Fc to 9th place with seven  points collected in 7 games while police Fc stays in 15th place with 2points collected in 6games.
