Owen Kasule: I will make sure Wakiso competes for the league title

Wakiso Giants FC’s new signing  Owen ‘Baba’ Kasule Jr. has promised that he will make sure the Purple Sharks competes for the 2020/21 StarTimes UPL title.

The attacking midfielder who put pen to paper on a 3-year contract with the Wakiso based side on Monday evening told The Touchline Sports that;

“I feel good after officially joining Wakiso Giants because it has been my dream team for the last seasons,” a delighted Kasule said.

“I think it is the right time to join Uganda’s top tier and battle out with the finest in the StarTimes UPL,” he said  before adding that,

“Wakiso Giants is one of the most prepared and organised teams in Uganda and I know my dream will come true.”

On his targets for the next season, he said,

“I want to be one of the best in Wakiso and I will make sure we compete for the league title.”

Kasule has previously played lower division football at All Stars Mbiko, Mbiko United, Athletico Club – Ntinda, Nansana United and lately Kampala Junior Team (KJT).

He has also featured for Buddu in the last two editions of the Airtel Masaza Cup tournament, losing to Ssingo in the 2018 final, and also finishing fourth after falling short in the third place playoff last year.

He has also been a key player at St. Lawrence University and helped them finish runners-up in the 2019 Pepsi University Football league.
