NEC FC secured a 1-0 win against BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Tuesday, stretching their winning streak to nine matches in the Uganda Premier League.
Innocent Media scored the decisive goal early in the game, heading in Hakim Wandera’s cross in the 13th minute. NEC held onto their lead with a disciplined defensive display to claim all three points.
The victory extends NEC’s unbeaten run to 16 matches and marks their 12th consecutive clean sheet in all competitions, underlining their defensive strength.
NEC move to 47 points in fifth place, while BUL remain eighth on 34 points after suffering back-to-back home defeats.
Despite failing to extend their lead, NEC displayed resilience and maturity to see out the game and secure maximum points on the road.
The result highlights NEC’s defensive dominance, as they registered their 12th consecutive clean sheet in all competitions. Remarkably, they have now gone nine straight matches without conceding and remain unbeaten in 16 league games. Their last defeat dates back to December 12, 2025, against KCCA, while the last goal they conceded came in February against Vipers.
