On Sunday, City Oilers edged UPDF Tomahawks by a point(65-64) in game two to set up a wonderful semi-final with UCU Canons who thumped JKL lady Dolphins comfortably in both games.
After one campaign and three years, UCU Canons will face Coach Monday’s charges in a repeat of 2019 final.
In the other game, KIU titans who beat Power will face on-form Namuwongo Blazers, who disciplined KCCA Basketball team a week ago to set up this semi-final encounter.

On the Women’s side, KCCA Leopards reminded the Angels basketball club as to why they are former champions when they beat them up [68-40].
In the other quarter final, UCU Lady Canons too won against the Magic Stomers [70-43] in a game where the young stormers showed resilience according to their play off standards.
Earlier in the quarter finals, JKL Lady Dolphins had progressed to the next step at the expense of Nabisunsa Girls and were joined by the KIU Rangers.

The semi-finals will start on the 9th September, with JKL Lady Dolphins playing against KCCA on the Women’s side and later Namuwongo Blazers up against KIU Titans on the Men’s side in mouth watering fixture.
