Micho summons 40 for 2022 CHAN Qualifiers

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic  has summoned a provisional 40-player squad to start preparations for the 2022 CHAN Qualifiers

Abdu Lumala and Moses Waiswa have been included in the squad, after having recently made a return to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Lumala joined Viper SC while Waiswa was scooped up by KCCA in the ongoing transfer window.

Vipers SC defensive midfielder Siraje Sentamu has also been included in the provisional squad.

The team will enter into residential camp on Monday, 25th July 2022 at Cranes Paradise Hotel ahead of ties between Somalia and Tanzania winner next month.

Uganda is seeking to return to the CHAN finals for the sixth straight time. They have been eliminated at group stages stage in all their past five attempts.
