Micho: I have full trust in my players


Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic ” Micho” says he trusts his squad fully to get a positive result against Tanzania at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier game on Tuesday.

The Cranes come into this game seeking for redemption having lost to their neighbors 1-0 in the first match of the double-header played on Saturday in Egypt.

“One detail can take you to hell and the other can take you to heaven and that is what happened in the last match.We now have chance for redemption in this game and we are coming here to fight for maximum points.” Micho said when asked by Journalist about Uganda’s chances in the press conference.

“I have full trust in the players and they know how crucial this game is and are hoping for positive results.” He added.

The negative result against Tanzania means Uganda have to atleast defeat their neighbors to revive their qualification hopes. The Cranes currently sit bottom of group F with a single point garnered in their opening four games.

Tanzania sit second on the log with 4 points in three games and a victory against Uganda will help them increase their hopes of securing qualification.

Algeria leads the group with maximum 12 points in four games having defeated Niger 1-0 on Monday evening.
