“The club has already secured Shs 2.5 billion to start the construction project of but the projection of the full work will be over Shs. 10bn.”

He added.

The Stadium sitting capacity is expected to be above 10,000 but the engineers are expected to reserve some areas without seats.

Ssekajja also called upon all football fans and sponsors in Uganda to come out and help in this process.

“I urge sponsors and Ugandan football fans who can help the Club in the process to come out, and we shall have a good account of the money collected.”

The construction is expected to start from the VVIP side to the Platinum side then conclude with the Kirussia (generals) side, according to how the money will be released.

The development is expected to take approximately three years and the speed of the work will be based on how the project money will be released.
