Lutalo bids farewell to SC Villa


SC Villa midfielder Umar Lutalo has announced his departure from SC Villa on a free transfer.

In an official letter posted on his social media platforms, the 20 year old bid farewell to the club after three seasons of service to the uganda premier league record champions.

” As I bid adieu to this remarkable journey with sports club Villa, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and everyone of you who been part of this incredible chapter of my life”.

Lutalo was full of praise to the club president, Hajji Omar Mandela and his executive, the club staff, teammates and the fans.

” To the esteemed president, Hajji Omar Mandela and his executive committee, your unwavering support and guidance has been instrumental in shaping not only my career but also the success of the club. Thank you for believing in me and providing me with the opportunity to contribute to the rich legacy of sports club Villa”. Lutalo wrote

” To my fellow players, it has been an absolute honor, to share the pitch with such talented individuals. Your dedication, passion, and comaradarie has been the driving force behind our triumphs”. Added the left footed player.

“Last but certainly not least, to loyal fans of Sports Club Villa, you are the heart beat of this sports club”.

He becomes the third player to leave the Club after Captain Kenneth Ssemakula and Abasi Kyeyune who was sold to Egyptiantop-tier side Cleopatra Celemica.

Lutalo’s eight goals played a pivotal role as the Jogoos clinched their 17th league title, the first since 2004.
