Katwe United remains the only Club yet to receive its Sponsorship package for the 2019/20 season as a result of presenting falsified documents, FUFA can confirm.
In response to the plea by the Club’s chairman, Hon. Allan Ssewanyana to have their monies released, the FUFA Deputy CEO in charge of football, Decolas Kiiza revealed that this comes as a result of the Club’s account concerns.
According to Kiiza, the Club submitted account details that do not match the rightful details needed. It is reported the Lugogo based Club submitted account details in the names of Katwe Holdings Limited as opposed to Katwe United.

He also says that the FUFA Finance department advised the Big league side to correct the details before they could receive their monies. However, the Club did not follow.

Each FUFA Big league side is entitled to Shs. 10,000,000/= Per season as a sponsorship package from StarTimes.
