A week after winning the 5000m at the IAAF Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava, Ugandan Athlete Jacob Kiplimo is yet again a winner and this time in the 3000m race at the Rome Diamond league.
On Thursday evening, the former junior champion clocked 7:26:64 in the race, outsprinting Norway’s Jakob Ingebrigtsen on the home straight and setting a personal best and meeting record in the process.

Kiplimo is also the 2017 IAAF World Cross Country Junior champion before the 10,000m silver at the 2018 IAAF World U20 Championship in Tampere, Finland.
