Isabirye boosted by return of two stars ahead of Arua Hill clash

Vipers SC will be boosted by the return Bright Anukani and Abdul Karim Watambala as they visit Arua Hill on Tuesday at Barifa Stadium in Arua.

The Venoms are currently third on the Uganda Premier league table with 36 points they have garnered in 19 games, 7 adrift of leaders SC Villa who have played four more games.

Arua Hill on the other hand are 5th with 33 points in 21 games.

The hosts though, come into this game after having beaten SC Villa and Gaddafi in their last two game while the Venoms drew 1-all with URA at Kitende.

“Big game for us. Massive game – and difficult as well, Arua Hill away,” said Alex Isabirye in an interview with Vipers’ media.

“I don’t count the points distance between us and them but we have to go for it.

Vipers lost their last Barifa Stadium visit 1-0 courtesy of Alfred Leku’s goal last season.

This season, Vipers edged the first leg fixture 1-0 at St. Mary’s Stadium , Kitende courtesy of Milton Karisa’s strike.

Aside from the return of Watambala and Anukani, Vipers will be without Yunus Sentamu, who limped off against URA.

Murushid Juuko and Alfred Mudekereza also remain out with long term injuries
