Have seen alot of talent, am impressed- Bogere


Lightweight Uganda professional boxer, Sharif Bogere was present at the Uganda Boxing Champions league week 17 at the NCS Arena, Lugogo.

After the bouts, Bogere, a one-time WBO NABO Champion and 2010 Outstanding Young Male Boxer of the Year was full of praise for the media and Uganda Boxing Federation Moses Muhangi going on to say;

“Boxing has taken shape in Uganda, thank you média for doing a good job of promoting the sport, the Federation President Moses Muhangi is also doing a great job.”

Adding that; “The boxing fan base has increased and have seen alot of talent, am really impressed.”

With the season two finale around the corner Bogere concluded by calling upon Ugandans to come witness talent;

“Therefore just like anyone else am thrilled and would love to call upon the people to come see Uganda’s tremendous talents on Tuesday 26th  December 2023 (Boxing day).”

Bogere is an inspiration to many of young boxers and currently signed to Mayweather Promotions, he is known for his flamboyant ring entrances and aggressive fighting style.
