Breaking: Vipers part ways with Golola, entire technical team


Vipers Sports Club has today Thursady afternoon sacked their head coach Edward Golola and his entire technical team.

The Club confirmed the development via the it’s website,, just a day after the 3 time UPL champions were eliminated from the Stanbic Uganda Cup by regional side Kajjansi United.

Vipers are expected to name the caretaker technical team soon that will take over  until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time coach.

Edward Golola leaves the club after just a year after taking over from Javier Martinez Espinoza.

Golola has been coach of Vipers for 19 games this season and has managed to win 13 games, 3 draws and 3 losses.

He leaves Vipers at the summit of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table.

Golola has been coach at Vipers on many occasions and as such, we await for his return to the st. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
