Vipers Sports Club manager, Edward Golala has revealed that Striker Muhammad Shaban is set for another few months on the side lines as he battles a knee injury.
The Forward has struggled with the injury since early July after parting ways with Morrocan Giants Raja Casablanca before a return to the St. Mary’s in August this year. The striker has so far missed ten of Vipers SC games this season.
Speaking to the touchline today, Golola maintains the same statement he gave after Vipers’ draw at Namboole, weeks ago.
Shaban is likely to be out for a few more months, although there’s a slim chance that he could return earlier.
Shaban is still nursing a serious injury and it will depend on the doctors, but I don’t know when he will be back maybe a few more months”
Am not a doctor but I know there is an injury that needs some valuable time to heal”
Shaban successfully underwent through a Knee Surgery and he is already undergoing rehabilitation as he finds his way back to the pitch.
Shaban is set to miss Vipers SC remaining games in first round of the league and maybe more games in the second round as he fully recovers.
