FWSL : She Corprate emerge as Victors of the FUFA Women Super League after drawing with Kampala Queens.


She Corporate Football Club are the Champions of the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League after drawing with Kampala Queens at the MUBS Arena, Nakawa.

This is a title won on the final day of the season. With both teams at 38 points coming into this final day clash, it was a mouth-watering top of the table clash attracting a large crowd to come watch the game.

The Nakawa-based side She Corprate needed just a draw to keep the title and it’s exactly and it’s what they exactly achieved holding Queens to a goaless draw.

Having had a few complaints from the Queens fans about their disallowed that was called offside, both teams never had a lot to showcase on the day.

Daphine Nyayenga from the She Corporate FC camp ended the season with 11 clean sheets out of the 16 games she was involved in making her the best Goalkeeper of the season.

Phionah Nabbumba, the second player from the She Corprate team was also named the MVP on this season after helping the team in winning this campaign with 5 goals and 4 assists

Golden Boot.

It is a conversation that has been held among different people reason being that Fazila Ikwaput of Lady Doves finished the season with 15 goals and was awarded the accolade yet Hasifa Nassuna who scored a hat trick against Uganda Martyrs WFC on the final day also had the same number of goal tally.

UCU Lady Cardinals won 4-2 against Uganda Martyrs WFC with goals from Hasifah Nassuna the other goal for the University side being an own goal from Harima Kanyago.

Uganda Martyrs’ consolation goals were scored by Catherine Nagadya and Elizabeth Nakigozi.

Fair play. 

Rines SS WFC won the fair play meaning they were the most disciplined team this season.


On the other side, Tooro Queens were relegated after their goalless draw with She Maroons who was also relegated with Rines SS WFC surving on the final day after drawing 2-2 at Lady Doves FC.

In the other game, Kawempe Muslim WFC drew 1-1 at Olila High School WFC.
