The Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA) Competitions Disciplinary Committee has fined and suspended the four KCCA FC players after finding them guilty of indisciplinary actions in the game which they drew 2-2 with Vipers SC at the St. Mary’s stadium in Kitende.
The four players of Ashraf Mugume, Musa Ramathan, Sadat Anaku and Innocent Wafula attacked the assistant referee Dick Okello, protesting against late Bobosi Byaruhanga equalizer to tie the game two-all.
After being found guilty of unsporting action, the four Kasasiro Boys have been suspended for the next two games and will also pay a fine of 500,000 Uganda Shillings each.
That means that they will miss the Friday game as KCCA hosts Police at the MTN Omondi stadium and an away trip against SC Villa.
Furthermore, KCCA Head Coach Morley Byekwaso has been also slapped a fine of 1M Uganda shillings by FUFA for his unpleasant comments made to the press after the end of the game.
Goalkeeping coach Moses Oloya only walks away with a strong warning for his actions which put the game into disrepute as the CDP analysed the actions in the game.
The club will also pay a fine of 1M shillings for failure to control the fans who threw bottles in field of play protesting against the decisions of the referee starting as early as the 35th minute of the game.
KCCA comfortably sit top of the log with 23 points garnered in 9 games this season.
