The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has revealed a new date for the start of the 2020-21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
The Top-tier kick off date had been originally planned for 17th October, but was postponed to November before being set for the Friday 20th, November 2020.
The development was confirmed in a press release from the FUFA on guidance of resumption of football activities in Uganda.
“Kick off of the 2020/2021 season is postponed from Saturday October 17 to Friday November 20, 2020,” read part of the press release.
Additionally, the Federation confirmed that the player registration period that had ended on 21st September, had also been extended for a further 4 weeks.
“The Players registration period is extended by 4 weeks to 19th October 2020.”
