West Nile won the third edition of the FUFA Drum tournament on Sunday at Aki Bua Stadium in Lira
Despite losing the second leg 2-1 against Lango won the tie on aggregate (3-2) having clinched a first leg 2-0 score at home.
Lango province who won the previous edition started off early going ahead in just 11 minutes through Dickens Okwir before Joachim Ojera doubled their lead in the 33rd minute
Nevertheless it was Arua Hill defender Rashid Toha who put it out of reach for Westnile when he scored in the 48th minute to make it 2-1 and give his side a marginal 3-2 lead on aggregate.
At the end of the day and tournament as a whole, Dennis Omedi (Lango Province) was voted most Valuable player, KCCA FC striker Allan Okello (Lango Province) took on the Golden boot with 4 goals
For the best Goalkeeper award Nafian Alionzi (West Nile) who is away on national duty scopped it after keeping 5 clean sheets out of 6 games.
