Fahad Bayo scores first goal for Ashdod SC in the Israel Premier League

After an eight league appearance, Uganda international forward Fahad Bayo has netted his maiden goal for Ashdod SC.

Bayo was on target as the Dolphins defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 3-2 in the Israel Premier League game played on Monday evening at the Yud-Alef Stadium.

In the 20th minute, Bayo propelled his side into a halftime lead when he put the ball past Daniel Tenenbaum in the Tel Aviv goal .

However, his goal was canceled out in the 53rd minute by Spanish Centerback Luis Hernandez.

Bayo was substituted off in the 57th minute for Yaakov Brihon before Tel Aviv took the lead through Yonatan Cohen strike in the 61st minute.

Substitute Shlomi Azulay leveled the matters for Ashdod in the 69th minute before another substitute, Sagiv Yehezkel restored the lead for the dolphins in the 79th minute.

With today’s win, Ashdod have now garnered 15 points in 9 games and will play Luwagga Kizito’s Happoel Kfar Saaba next in the league
