Document – Cameroon exerts safety measures against Corona virus ahead of CHAN 2020

The minister of foreign affairs Mr. Lejeune Mbella Mbella has issued a fax-message to all foreign embassies asking all Cameroonian embassies overseas to include test outcomes of the COVID-19 as one of the visa requirements.

With the aforementioned precaution, all of Cameroon’s associates including players, officials, media and the traveling supporters seeking to travel to Cameroon for the CHAN 2020 will have to test negative to the Corona virus before being granted an entry Visa.

This comes shortly after CAF suspending all the upcoming AFCON 2021 qualifying games due to increased fear of the pandemic.

CHAN 2020 is scheduled to take place in three cities in Cameroon from 4th April to 25th the same month.
