This weekend had the last fixtures of the different leagues before the international break and some Uganda professionals abroad were in action for their respective sides – Here is how Uganda’s professionals fared over the weekend.

Starting off in Denmark, Moses Opondo netted a late equaliser for his side, Odense Boldkub as they drew 2-all with Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AGF) in the Danish SuperLiga. Opondo strike came in the 91st minute, less than 15 minutes after coming on.

Still, in the Danish SuperLiga, Robert Kakeero was still left out of the matchday squad as his side, AaB Aalborg secured a 2-1 victory over Nordsjaelland.

Heading to England, Uche Ikpeazu Mubiru was out with an injury as his side, Midlesbourgh FC drew 1-1 with Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship.

While in the English League one, Jordan Obita featured full-time as Wycombe Wanderers lost 3-1 to Sunderland, while Elvis Bwomono was still out for Southend United as they lost 1-0 to Stockport in the Conference League.

In Scotland, Bevis Mugabi featured full-time for Motherwell as they narrowly defeated Dundee United 1-0 in the Scottish Premiership.

In USA, Mustafa Kizza was an unused substitute for Montreal Impact as they secured a 3-1 victory over Toronto FC in the Major league Soccer.

Mike Azira was introduced on in the 67th minute for Juan Guzman as his side, New Mexico lost 3-2 to Phoenix Rising FC in the United States League.

In Isreal, the Uganda duo of Timothy Awanyi and Fahad Bayo were in action for their side, Ashdod SC as they lost 2-1 to Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Isreal Premier League. Bayo featured full-time, while Awanyi was subbed for in the 78th minute.

In Sweden, Ritah Kivumbi was introduced in the 72ndminute for Emma Erikson as her side, Mallbacken IF drew 1-all with Moron in the Swedish Elitetan. Alexis Bbaka featured for 45 minutes as his side, Omea FC drew 2-all with IF Sylvia in the Swedish Division 1. In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Isaac Ssewakambo featured full-time as his side, Ostersunds suffered a 3-0 loss to Norrkoping. Ronald Mukiibi is still out injuried.

In the Czech Republic, Isaac Muleme featured full-time as his side Victoria Zizkov suffered a 3-0 loss to Vlasim in the Czech Republic National Football League.

In Egypt, Derrick Nsibambi was introduced on at halftime for Nadi Muhamed as Smouha SC drew 1-all with El Makkasa in the Egyptian Premier League.
