There was football action across the world and we get to find out how our players got to perform in their respective clubs in midweek.

In Egypt, Derrick Nsibambi was on the scoresheet as his side Smouha SC played out to a 1-all draw with El-Gaish in the Egyptian Premier League.

The former KCCA FC striker found the back of the net in the 47th minute and was subbed off in the  68th minute.

Khalid Aucho started and featured full-time as his El Makkasa side suffered a 3-1 loss to Wadi Degla at the Arab Contractors Stadium.

Allan Kyambadde featured at right-back as his side, El Gouna FC as they fell 1-0 away to Al Ahly at the Cairo International Stadium.

In South Africa, Denis Onyango didn’t feature as Mamelodi Sundowns registered two 1-0 wins over Golden Arrows and Kaizer Chiefs in the Absa Premier Soccer League due to a quad injury.

Moses Waiswa was still out with illness as his Supersport United side defeated Black Leopards in the Absa Premier Soccer League.

In Tanzania, Nicholas Wakiro Wadada was in action as his side Azam FC registered a 1-0 victory over KMC FC in a pre-season game at the Azam Complex.

Boban Zirintusa was on target as his Mtibwa FC side defeated Dodoma Jiji FC 7-0 In a preparation match ahead of the 2020/21 Tanzania Premier League.

In the USA, Mike Azira was once again an unused substitute as his side, Chicago fire won 3-0 against Cincinnati FC in the Major league soccer.

In England, Uche Ikpeazu Mubiru featured as his side Wycombe Wanderers got thrashed 5-1 by Premier League side Westham in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Adams Park.

Elvis Okello Bwomono played 60 minutes in Southend’s 3-2 win over Charlton Athletic in a behind-closed-doors pre-season game ahead of the 2020/21 League II season.

Edrisa Lubega started on the bench and came on in the 63rd minute for S. Luts as his Paide Linnameeskond side lost 2-0 to Žalgiris FC while Bevis Mugabi started and played full-time as Motherwell FC side thrashed Northern Ireland’s Glentoran F.C 5-1 in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.

In Sweden, Ritah Kivumbi wasn’t in the Match day squad as her Mallabacken IF lost 3-0 to Morón In the Swedish Elitetan.
