Fixtures have been rolled out for the 2025 National Basketball League which tips off this Friday, 21st March at the Lugogo Arena with the most anticipated fixtures of the regular season.
Ten time record Champions City Oilers will light up the opener when they go against rivals Namblazers. This encounter will be preceded by the womens game between defending champions JKL Lady Dolphins against JT Lady Jaguars.
Namuwongo blazers gave the Oilers a run for their money in 2022 with a nail biting final series. But made a no show in the following seasons’ play offs and failed to make it to last season’s finals after they were eliminated by eventual runners up, KIU Titans.
However, Namblazers’ roster for this season has three of the men who denied them the championship two seasons ago in former City Oilers players Jimmy Enabu, James Okello and Tonny Drileba.
