Creative midfielder Chris Akena Pius joined Greek third tier side Megas Alexandros Agias Marinas on a undisclosed employment contract from United Arab Emirates side, Al rams
Akena 21, joined Al rams in January 2023 and has left eight (8) months later penning down a gratitude message saying;
Akena will bring creativity, urgency and direct approach to the Agia Marina midfield department.
Akena is a product of the Pro-Way Soccer Academy and the Qatar ASPIRE Academy Football Project.
He also featured for Shabab Reserve before moving to the FC Shabab Al Ahli Dubai senior team where he left join his recent club Al Rams.
Akena has earned two international caps with the Uganda national senior football team, Uganda Cranes.
