The Touchline Sports - BUL renew Akol, Wandyaka contracts

Jinja based Uganda Premier League side BUL FC has renewed the contracts of midfielder Godfrey Akol and forward Richard Wadyaka. The duo has put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension until at least 2022.

Akol joined the Eastern Giants from Busoga United in 2019, while Wandyaka was snapped from URA FC in 2017.

BUL has now renewed contacts of four senior players after Musa Esenu and Walter Ochora put pen to paper to new contracts earlier this week.

In the ongoing transfer window, BUL has so far recruited 11 new players and let go of more than 15.

Ivan Wani, Douglas Muganga, Jerome Kirya, Saidi Keni, Hannington Ssebwalunyo and Ibrahim Nsimbe are some of the new acquisitions.

The club also promoted Owen Mukisa and Herbert Onyango from the Junior team.
