Jinja-based UPL side BUL FC has confirmed the Kyabazinga Stadium Kyabazinga – Bugembe as their new home ahead of the 2020/21 StarTimes UPL season.

The development was announced by the Club Chairman Ronald Barente after an agreement was reached between the Owners, Busoga Kingdom, and the Club, BUL FC.

The good news is that we have finalized with the signing of all the necessary documents and I can confidently confirm that Kyabazinga Stadium Bugembe is our new home of football effective this coming season,”

said the club chairman, Barente.

BUL FC hosted most of its 2019/20 StarTimes UPL matches at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru, and played less than five games at the Bugembe Stadium.

The development means “BUL FC will henceforth own the stadium for subsequent five years” – a statement from the Club’s communique read.

The Club will, therefore, return to Kyabazinga Stadium for the next 5 years starting the 2020/21 season and will be responsible for sanctioning all activities held in the facility (the Kyabazinga Stadium)
