Wasswa Bossa has resigned from his role as Tooro United head coach. The development follows a humiliating defeat at west-Nile based Onduparaka FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League – yesterday at the Greenlight Stadium, Arua.
Tooro United was defeated 3-0 by Onduparaka FC yesterday, handing the Tooro based side a 6th defeat in 10 league games this term.
Wasswa Bossa joined Tooro United 2 seasons back from Sports Club Villa and moved to the Club with a number of players including Mukasa Musa, Simon Serunkuma, Mahad Yaya Kakooza, Godfrey Lwesibawa among others.
At the start of this season, there were rumors that the former Express FC coach would join Vipers SC. However, all of a sudden he extended his contract at Tooro.
When he was contacted Bbosa said;
I can not deal with the current club administration. They do not understand football and at some point they also want to involve themselves in technical matters. On top of this, the players are not being well facilitated.
Last season Wasswa Bossa finished 4th in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with 49 points.
He leaves Tooro United in 12th position with 10 points, 3 wins including beating KCCA at their home, a draw and 6 defeats in 10 games played.
