Two East African sides to face off in the 2023 Basketball Africa League final qualification decider as City Oilers will play Burundi’s Urunani on Sunday.
This will be a third place play-off after both the City Oilers and Urunani lost to Cape Town Tigers and Ferroviario Beira respectively at the semi-finals. The Oilers lost 69-75.
Falando Jones was on fire, scoring 40 points just like Deng Dhieu was on the other side putting up a two consistent three’s to give the Cape Town Tigers a 72-69 lead.
Both Cape Town Tigers and Ferroviario Beira booked a ticket to BAL due next year.
