Aziz Damani Doves All-stars appoints former Somali Coach


FUFA Big League side Aziz Damani Doves All-Stars has appointed former Somalia national team head coach Haruna Mawa as their new head coach.

The revelation was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon at a press conference held at the club’s head offices at Wadriff road, Arua.

Haruna Mawa will be assisted by Onama Bosco who has been the interim boss since Adiga Morris was sacked in November 2019.

Haruna Mawa is a former KCCA FC and Rayon sports player and has managed SC Victoria University in 2015 before switching to the Somalia national football team in 2016.

He has been clubless since he left the head coach of the Somalia national team in 2017.

Mawa’s first test will be a Uganda cup round of 16 tie against Luwero United on Sunday 26th January at the Kasana ground, Luwero
