The Uganda Rugby Sevens men’s team win the Bowl after a perfect run from the Bowl quarterfinals which they won against the Republic of Korea, 12-00 to advance to the Bowl Semifinal(which they also won against Hong Kong) in Cape Town
The Uganda seven team beat a resilient Germany side 19-12 like they had never caused an upset to them in the Challenger sevens series, Chile a month ago. Philip Wokorach was the main man as he run the show on the day.

After being out with injury he put up a try and a conversion but it was his brilliant runs that caught the eye of many. Other tries on the day were scored by team Captain Micheal Wokorach and Ian Munyani after an explosive run from the Captain.

Therefore Uganda finish 17th at the 2022 Rugby World Cup 7’s in Cape Town.
