Sand Cranes, the Uganda National Beach Soccer Team have been pitted in group B in the forthcoming 2022 Hollywood Bets COSAFA Beach Soccer Championship in Durban, South Africa.
The tournament will act as preparation for the beach soccer AFCON and will be from the 25th September to 1st October. The tournament will have two groups, a total of eight teams with four in each of the group.
The Sand Cranes are in the same group with fellow visitors Egypt, neighbors of Tanzania, Egypt and Mauritius. In the other group (A) There is West African side Senegal, Mozambique, Seychelles and the hosts of South Africa.
The team is in camp at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru preparing for the championship.
