Buddu will be looking to win their second Masaza Cup in a row after they matched to the 2022 Masaza cup tournament finals with Busiro as both teams vanquished their respective opponents.
Defending Champions Buddu who play their third consecutive final after winning the last, lost their 2nd Leg semi-final game to Bulemeezi 2-1 at Kasana on Sunday courtesy of a Calvin Peter Emayu brace for the Luweero side and a Denis Kalanzi for a consolation.

But it did not help Bulemeezi on the day, as the tie ended 2-2 to send the Masaka side to the final on away goals rule since Buddu had edged it in the first leg at the Masaka recreation grounds.
In the other semi final, Simon Peter Mugerwa’s Busiro edged Ssingo by one goal on aggregate (4-3) at the Sentema grounds to move to the final thanks to a Akram Muzanyi first half goal to add to the 3-3 scoreline in the first leg in Mityana.
Both teams have been to this stage in the past four editions of the tournament and will hope to use that experience to fight for the tournament trophy.
The Masaza cup committee will communicate dates for this year’s final with St. Mary’s stadium Kitende likely to host the finals.
