2021 AFCON Qualifiers: CAF confirms Referees for Uganda-South Sudan double header


The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has confirmed the appointment of the referee to handle the 2021 AFCON double header ties between Uganda and South Sudan.

Congo Brazzaville’s Messie Jessie Oved will be the Center referee for the first leg at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Saturday, 28th March 2020 and will be assisted Styven Danek Moyo from Congo Brazzaville and CAR’s Lucknor Malonga as first and second assistants.

Lazard Tsiba Kamba,  also from Congo Brazzaville will the 4th official while Khalid Abdallah from Tanzania will the game’s match commissioner.

In the return leg at the El-Hilal Stadium in Sudan (3 days after the first leg),  Louis Hougnandande from Benin will be in Center and Gbemassiandan Narcisse and Eric Ayimavo will be his first and second assistants while Adirsa Ligali and Amir Abdi from Somali will be the 4th Official and Match Commissioner respectively

Uganda sit top of group B with 4 points garnered in 2 games.
