Vipers part ways with Neiva

Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers SC have parted ways with their head coach Leonard Neiva on Sunday evening as confirmed on their club website.

This comes after the 3-2 loss to league leaders BUL FC on Friday at St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende, their first in two years

Neiva who was tasked to take the club beyond the CAF Champions League preliminary rounds dropping out against Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy failed at the assignment despite making several signings.

Above all the team’s performance on the pitch have been questionable for many, something that is suspected to have led to the sacking.

Neiva leaves Vipers second on the league table with 24 points, five adrift of leaders BUL FC.
