The Uganda Premier League secretariat has finally released the fixtures for the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
Unlike the previous seasons where the secretariat released only first round fixtures, this time round they have released full season fixtures but Kyetume FC miss out having failed to meet the minimum Licensing requirements.
The league shall kick off on 30th September at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende when Vipers SC start their title defense against Soltilo Bright Stars.
Last season’s runners-up KCCA will take on Wakiso Giants at home while Stanbic Uganda Cup winners BUL FC shall be away against Black Powers
URA will host Onduparaka FC while SC VILLA shall take on Gaddafi FC on the opening weekend.
Arua Hill SC will not play on the opening half so their first game of the season will be against KCCA on 7th October at Greenlight Stadium, Arua
The first round will end on December 12 while the second round will begin on February 9 and climax on May 27 2023.
