UPL: Kiwanuka, Lwanga unplayable in SC Villa statement win over UPDF

With different individuals questioning SC Villa’s  character the Jogoos came out in beast mode thrashing UPDF 5-0 at the Muteesa II stadium in Wankukuku on Friday.

Hakim Kiwanuka and Charles Lwanga were unplayable on the day after have a hand in four goals.

Three of the five goals came under 14 minutes with two from Charles Lwanga before he completed his haul in the second half.

Just a minute into the game, Aggrey Kiirya put the ball in his net after some good dribbling skills display by Simon Ssemayange who later put the ball into the box with unexpected touch infront of shot stopper Richard Anyama.

Ten minutes later, Lwanga doubled the hosts lead with half volley infront of Anyama thanks to a good drive off the right wing to the by line only for a pin point cross that met Captain Ronald Ssekiganda’s right leg who tapped it into the scorer’s path.

Lwanga completed his brace under 14 minutes with the Jogoos proving to be unplayable on the day despite UPDF’s recent form.

Kiwanuka was at the helm of creativity once again with a good flick into the space to set Lwanga through on goal staging some good football.

In the second half, with six minutes after restart Lwanga was at it again as he netted third and hosts’ fourth after Kiwanuka running through the space only for Anyama to save his effort before the on fire striker rebounding.

It was still the same routine with an identical combination Kiwanuka running on the right to put in a low cross for Lwanga to net his fourth with 20 minutes to end the game.

However three minutes later, happy SC Villa faces joined the visitors in sorrow as Second Assistant Referee Peter Kabugo collapsed after Asthmatic attack during in the 73rd minute of the game.

Later on announced, he was dead before reaching Mulago hospital in an Ambulance .

The victory sends SC Villa to 4th with 11 points while UPDF stay in 10th with 9 points.

In their next games, Villa will travel to Nakivubo  and face old rivals Express FC on Friday 8th November as UPDF host Mbarara City in Bombo on 6th November.
