Uganda to prepare two countries for the AFCON finals

The Ugandan National Football Team, the Cranes will play two matches with two AFCON 2021 bound teams Gabon and Mauritania.

These two games will be played in Abu Dhabi to prepare the two countries for the AFCON finals in Cameroon starting on January 9th.

The game against Gabon will be played on 30th December, 2021 while that one against Mauritania will be on 1st January.

Gabon is pitted in group C with Morocco, Ghana and Comoros while Mauritania is in group F with Tunisia, Mali and Gambia.

Uganda failed to qualify for these finals after finishing third in group B, behind Burkina Faso and Malawi.
