Week 11 of the Uganda Boxing Champions League is set to return to Lugogo this Saturday 12th October 2024 with a number of exciting fights headlined by long awaited bout Light Welter weight contest between Raskara Paul and Magumba Reagan.
Both boxers have so far been involved in season 3 at least once, Raskara knocking out Kyengera’s Edward Kimera as early as round 2 in week 5 while Magumba beat Musana Victor 5-0.
During the weigh in held at the Lugogo Arena gardens, Raskara who hails from KCCA Boxing Club promised to chew Magumba;

“Magumba is no bone his just two days chicken at KFC so that I can chew and tomorrow he won’t know what hit him” Raskara said
“He’s a good boxer but am a bad one so wait for tomorrow and see what will happen” he concluded
For Lukanga’s Magumba he says his well prepared for this fight;

“For those who watched my previous fight I believe you had a good watch and I promise tomorrow will be better, have been training well and am prepared”
The two have met before in the National Open boxing Championship when Raskara managed to make it so hard for Magumba who seemed to be more skillful.
On the evening, two boxers from Kibuli in Kemis Ibrahim and Nasasira Shafic will take each other on in a Light weight Elite 60kgs bout to see who is King.
Having cited a story of him(Kemis) and Nasasira before their last fight in the National Open, one would urge the two were brothers but little did we know they could tur into rivals.
The Mutajjazi boxer who lost the national open is very eager to get back glory over Nasasira the Police Officer;
“I am going to beat Nasasira to the core, he automatically started putting on gloves the moment he started boxing whereas I first did shadow boxing for three years before I started wearing gloves so you know what I mean” Kemis said

For Nasasira, he promised to arrest Kemis after drowning him in his words.
Other bouts on the day will see COBAP’s Kimera Moses take on Matovu Livingstone from Brawn Boxing Club in the Fly 51kgs Elite while Mugambe Shakur (Lukanga) will box off with Ochan Raymond(KCCA) in the Light weight Youth 60kgs contest.
In the Bantam Youth, Lukanga’s Lubega Hakim will come out challenge Igelet Stuart from KCCA as Abdul Hamza (Mutajjazi)prepares to fight Ayebare Charles from Gideon BC in the Welter 66kgs JRS.
After all these bouts the Arena will witness a corporate Fight between socialite and Entrepreneur Shakib and TV personality JK Kazoora as both look to leave a mark on the Uganda Boxing Champions League.
