StarTimes Uganda Premier side Mbarara City have beefed up their squad with two new additions.

The Ankole lions confirmed the signing of former BUL FC duo, Najib Tusaba Gwaido and Charles Ssempa.

Both players join the Ankole lions on a short term deal until the end of the 2021-22 season.

Tusaba is a defender while Ssempa is a left footed winger who can also be deployed just behind the strikers.

The two become the first signings for new head coach Sadiq Sempigi during the mid-season transfer window.

Mbarara City will play Six O’clock FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 tie on Sunday, January 23 2022 at the Kazinda Playground in Bushenyi, a game that both Ssempa and Tusaba are expected to make their debuts.
