Solotilo Brights stars welcome Army men, UPDF FC in a mid-table clash on Wednesday at the Kavumba Recreation ground in Wakiso.
Bright Stars are 8th on the Log with three points and are looking for their first win this season having drawn all the three games played this season against Vipers, Maroons FC and Blacks Power.
Head Coach Asaph Mwebaze, says that the team’s first motivator is going to play at home turf;
We are playing at home, on our own turf and this should be the first motivator. Feel like we are in the right frame of mind that will enable us pick up the three points of the game and score more goals not just one, probably two or three.”
On the other side, UPDF who lie 5th on the Log with four points will also hope to maintain their confidence after their first win this season in the last game against Busoga United.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe who scored a hat-trick in that game will be the one player in the limelight and the traveling fans will hope that he can get the team their second win this season.
UPDF put on their Gofere made new kit for the first time this season as they look to put an end to their winless away record against Bright Stars.
What will a win do?
A win for Bright Stars will take them up to third on the Log on 6 points just like UPDF FC, if they win the will be the one going up to third with 7 points level with the first and second but with a weaker goal difference.

Bright Stars will be without Sam Ssenyonjo who is still recovering from injury. The rest of the players are available for selection.
For UPDF they welcome back their Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo who was with the U17 National Team (Uganda Cubs) and Abdallah Saduru who has played only one game this season.
Davis Kakaire will not be available.
