The Uganda Premier league secretariat has rescheduled match no. 217where BUL will be hosting Vipers SC at the Kyabazinga Stadium Bugembe,Jinja.
The match was supposed to be played on Tuesday 22nd June, 2021 but has pushed to Wednesday 23rd the same month.
It is due to the need to ensure that all three title contenders Express, URA FC and Vipers SC play on the same day and time.
“In the spirit of fair competition and proper final bend management of the SUPL, the UPL Secretariat has moved match number 217 BUL FC Vs Vipers SC from Tuesday 22nd June 2021 to Wednesday 23rd June, 2021. The Kickoff time and venue remain unchanged” read part of the press release signed by Bernard Bampire Bainamani, the Chief Executive Officer.
“This is to ensure that the three title contenders Express, URA FC and Vipers SC play on the same day and time.”
Heading to the next four gameweeks, the three title contenders are separated by only two points as Express lead the log with 58 points, URA second with 57 points while Vipers are third with 56.
Express play Wakiso Giants next away from home, URA will battle with Busoga United in Jinja while Vipers will host Onduparaka at the St.Marys Stadium, Kitende.
