On his first return to the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso on Tuesday, forward Vianne Sekajungo singlehandedly tormented his former paymasters Wakiso Giants

The forward, who switched Wakiso’s purple to URA’s yellow at the start of the season got four of URA’s five goals as the Tax Collectors secured a vital 5-0 victory over the Purple Sharks.

Few seconds after the start of the game, Ssekajugo got off the mark, running onto Steven Mukwala’s headed back flick to break the game’s deadlock by placing his effort past Samson Kirya.

The former Wakiso Giants forward had a brilliant chance to double his tally ten minutes into the game, but he shot wide.

But he did get his second of the game just before the break with a well taken strike following Shafik Kagimu’s mis-hit strike.

But before that second goal for URA, the Tax Collectors will have to thank goalkeeper Nathian Alionzi, who made a couple of saves to deny the Purple Sharks from scoring.

He made an acrobatic save to parry away Rahmat Senfuuka header in the 26th minute before denying George Kaddu’s two ferocious strikes from outside the box.

Both sides were forced into early changes after Najib Fesali and Hassan Wasswa were withdrawn for URA and Wakiso respectively due to injuries.

After the break, Wakiso had the first attempt, but once again, Alionzi was brilliant to deny Moses Aliro from close range.

Ssekajugo completed his hat-trick just after the hour-mark, stealing the ball from Kaddu to chip it past the on-rushing Samson Kirya and into the back of the net.

It was four for Ssekajugo and URA FC in the 80th minute as the forward rose made a jump to head in a well driven Saidi Kyeyune’s cornerkick.

Living Kabon, who came on for Ssekajugo got the Tax Collectors fifth of the game just before the death of the game.

The Purple Sharks had to finish the game with ten men after Kaddu was sent off by referee William Oloya for a second bookable foul on Ssekajugo.

The vital victory takes URA to 34 points in 17 games and now are five points behind leaders Vipers SC.

While his former side, Wakiso Giants stay seventh on the log with 27 points despite the loss.

Was it the right time for Express to let Wasswa Bbosa go?
