Mohammad Shaban netted the only goal of the game as Onduparaka overcame SC Villa 1-0 on Friday evening.
Shaban’s goal came midway the opening half when he pounced onto a loose ball to fire past Meddie Kibirige from outside the box.
Onduparaka was the better side of the day as they dominated most of proceedings of the game. They could have scored more but Norman Ogik, John Rogers and Shaban failed to beat the Villa goalkeeper.
Shaban also rattled the crossbar after being set up by Mansour Saafi in the second half.
Villa’s best chance of the game came in the second half and it fell to Sadam Masereka but Goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga was brilliant to punch away the ball for a corner.
Onduparaka move to 8th on the log with the three vital points at home. They are now on 30 points in 24 games.
For Villa, they stay 12th with only 25 points in as many games.
