StarTimes UPL: KCCA strong for Wakiso to go top

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club moved too of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League standings after they were too brilliant against Wakiso Giants at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso.

The Kasasiro Boys were 3-0 winners over the purple Sharks in the game ayed on Sunday evening.

Anaku opened the scoreline inside the first six minutes with a well taken header.

The second came past the hour mark courtesy of Kasirye volley after a delicious Denis iguma’s pass.

The game went into the break with the visitors holding a commanding 2-0 lead.

Mugume put the game to bed in the 57th minute with a bullet shot that went past Samson Kirya and into the back of the net.

Wakiso Giants had a couple of chances to at least get a consolation but Frank Ssebufu failed to find on most of those occasions.

With the victory, KCCA move top of the log while Wakiso drop bottom of the standings, having conceded more goals than anyone else on match day one.

In the next game, Wakiso will play Vipers SC away while KCCA hosts Gaddafi.
