The Match day 12 of the 2021 FUFA Big League commenced on Sunday, 06 June 2021 with six matches across the different corners of the country in the two different groups. By the end of the day, Tooro United, Proline, Nyamityobora, Gadaffi all secured playoffs slots while Arua Hill extended their unbeaten run to 12 games with a win over their Arua rivals.

Staring off in the Rwenzori group, Tooro United played out to a goalless stalemate with Ndejje University at the Arena of Visions to seal their tickets into this year’s playoffs.
The point garnered takes Tooro United to 27 points garnered in 12 games, 12 points above fourth placed Luwero United with two games to go
Proline have also secured their slot after they fought hard to defeat Luwero United 3-2 away from home at the Kosovo Playgrounds, Kasana Luwero.
Ivan ocholit gave Proline the lead before Musisi Henry levelled matters for Luwero before the break. Proline once again went in front through Mato Rogers tap in but once again leveled matters through Basham Mugwa.
But just before the death of the game, Hamis Diego Kizza netted the winner for Proline.
Proline now move to 23 points, garnered in 12 games and have sealed their playoff place with two games to spare.
The team that secured a playoff slot is Nyamityobora, who secured their ticket following Proline’s result. Nyamityobora sit third on the log with 21 points, 7 ahead of Luwero with two games left.
In the other game played in the Rwenzori group, Terrazzo and Tiles defeated Waters FC 2-1 at the Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.
Terrazzo stay bottom with 10 points garnered in 12 points, three below the relegation line.
In the Elgon group, Arua Hill extended their unbeaten run to 12 games after they defeated Calvary FC 2-0 at the Greenlight Stadium, Arua.
Gadaffi Gadinho and Agau Rashid were on target for Arua Hills in the first half to propel their side to a well deserved victory over their Arua rivals.
Arua Hill, who are the only unbeaten team in the FUFA Big league thus far move to 26 points in 12 games, three points above second placed Gadaffi.
Arua Hill have also become the first Elgon group team to advance to the playoff atleast as they can’t finish below third place.
Black Power played out to a goalless stalemate with Kataka FC at the Mbale Municipal Stadium, Mbale.
In Jinja, Gadaffi thrashed bottom placed Paidha Black Angels 6-2 at the Kyabazinga Stadium-Bugembe.
Otim James had a brace while Mark Bamukyaye, Frank Mulimi and Muguchi Steven had a goal each for the Solider Boys.
Kilama Dickens netted the two consolation goals for Paidha Black Angels who have officially gotten relegated from the StarTimes FUFA Big league.
Gadaffi now moves to second place with 23 points, three adrift of Arua Hill and have also secured atleast a playoff slot.
