Uganda Sand Cranes head coach Angelo Schrinzi has named the final 12-player squad for the 2022 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in Mozambique.
The squad which was named on Tuesday morning mainly consists of players that took part in the recently concluded Beach Soccer COSAFA Championship in South Africa.
The final squad has two goalkeepers,five defenders and five forwards.
The summoned squad is set to depart the country for Maputo on Tuesday evening for the tournament set to begin on 21st October .
Uganda, who are pitted in group B alongside defending champions Senegal, Madagascar and Egypt are making their second appearance in the final tournament, having featured in the last edition in Senegal where they finished as semi-finalists.
