After more than six months of being club-less, Ugandan defender Richard Kasagga has finally joined a new club.
The former URA and KCCA defender joins Tunisian Ligue 1 club Olympique Beja as a free agent.
The 28-year old has been without a club since he departed Indian Club Aizawl FC in the middle of last year.
In Uganda, Kasagga featured for Kira Young, KCCA FC and URA FC while his first stint abroad came at Lebanese Salaam Zgharta in the 2015/16 season.
He is capped 37 for the Uganda’s Senior National Team, the Uganda Cranes since he made his debut in 2013 against Tanzania in the 2014 African Nations Championship second round qualifiers match.
His new side, Beja currently sits fourth in the Group B table of the Tunisian Ligue 1 with 10 points in nine games.
